WHAT IS A PAULYWINDER?
The PaulyWinder is a gearless autowinder designed by Mike Pauly at SpinPerfect for SpinOlution.
This is a continuous winding flyer, with no stopping to switch pegs. It came out in 2020 after several years of research and engineering. This patented design is compatible with SpinOlution wheels with 4 oz, 8 oz, or 16 oz flyer sizes. Simply remove your flyer bars and install the PaulyWinder onto your SpinOlution wheel and you can start spinning full bobbins as your yarn auto-winds onto the bobbin.

Note: In this product photo the PaulyWinder is being used with a SpinPerfect 4 oz Bobbin and SpinPerfect Perfect Tube orifice (not included). The Pauly Winder includes both flyer arms and hardware for installation. It does not include bobbins or an orifice bar. Magnetic wooden bobbins and keyed orifice bars are compatible with the PaulyWinder.

COMPATIBILITY OF CURRENT MODELS
Pollywog is compatible with a small PaulyWinder on both the 4 oz and 12 oz flyers.
Queen Bee is compatible with the small PaulyWinder on the 4 oz flyer.
King Bee is compatible with the large PaulyWinder on the 8 oz flyer.
Worker Bee is compatible with the large PaulyWinder on the 16 oz flyer.
Hopper is compatible with the large PaulyWinder on both the 8 oz and 16 oz flyer.
Bullfrog is compatible with the large PaulyWinder on the 16 oz flyer.
Monarch is compatible with the small PaulyWinder on the 4A flyer and the large PaulyWinder on the 8 oz and 16 oz flyer.
Echo is compatible with the small PaulyWinder on the 4 oz and 4A oz flyer; and the large PaulyWinder on the 8 oz and 16 oz flyer.
FAQ
Sufficient tension is required for the PaulyWinder to work property.
The PaulyWinder is not compatible with the SpinOlution Skein Winder.
Current magnetic wooden SpinOlution bobbins and orifice bar are compatible with the PaulyWinder flyer.
On SpinOlution flyers without magnets, a current SpinOlution or SpinPerfect orifice bar is required.
The Echo Flyer Head can be used on the Firefly Base for the correct height to be compatible with the PaulyWinder.
The Modular Monarch/Firefly Flyer Head requires a riser to be compatible with the PaulyWinder on the Firefly base. Order your riser below:
